I'm between desktops at the moment. Right now I'm on an HP Envy laptop. I think I might start working on a new desktop in May, so I'll report back then.

I have a desktop but it started having some troubles right before I moved away for school so I ended up leaving it back home. It's over 5 years old anyway, so it's about time for a new one.

Question. Is this game really going to push past 8GB of RAM? The Hanger doesn't get close... but I don't know. Now that I listen to Chris, he seems to be targeting a middle ground between extreme and mainstream.

I'm ashamed to post mine. I'm in need of upgrades but dont have the funds right now to do that. The pressing issue for me at the moment is memory as I only have 4gb. So that's the first thing I'm going to be looking to upgrading in a few weeks or so

I just got a new cooler so I can push my GPU and CPU OCs since the case temp won't be as high. dotcom Memory is really inexpensive these days. If you're looking for deals, let me know your budget and I will keep an eye out for good prices. I build a new PC almost yearly, so I'm a seasoned PC part buyer. I recommend keeping an eye on this subreddit: www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/ for deals. As far as feeling ashamed, don't be. We're all here to help each other. If you show us your specs we can help you beef your rig enough to run the game smoothly and even help by sending spare rig parts. I'll have to see what I can donate to your rig, after all, we're only as strong as our weakest link!

Thanks, we'll keep an eye out for deals. You don't seem to have a bad setup. Since you have a H60, try to OC your CPU for a decent boost. Those A6 CPUs are a little on the low-end side for gaming, but it should do for the time being.
RAT is a nice mouse. I have the RAT 3 and like it even though it's just about the cheapest piece of plastic with a $35 price tag. I use it on my back-up rig.
Also, you have a beefy PSU. That will be great for you when you start updating your rig in the future.

Yah I've been upgrading it piece by piece for the past 7 years. I had an AMD Athlon II black edition but my motherboard crashed on me about a year and a half ago and I couldn't find one with the same socket so i had to replace my cpu, mobo and ram. Bought what i could afford at the time but hopefully I'll be able to get some better stuff, starting with ram.

I just can't wait until they release the SC HOTAS design. I've been putting HOTAS on hold until they come up with pricing and design. I feel if they design a HOTAS around SC it would be ideal to use, but who knows. I was also looking at the Thrustmaster Warthog. It's price is a big pill to swallow. www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-Hotas-Warthog-Joystick-2960720/dp/B00371R8P4Then it will be new CPU/ GPU within in the year. I will be more than happy to sell my old parts at a super CV price if anyone would be interested at that time. The reason why I was looking at a Warthog is because there is a small part of the SC community who's working on programming this HOTAS setup to work best with SC. Seems like a solid platform. forums.robertsspaceindustries.com/discussion/142964/tm-hotas-warthog-custom-script (more threads are floating around of Citizens creating HOTAS scripts)
