Hello All,
Uhm. Not really into introductions so I'll make shit short and sweet.
Came to this little community through a friend who sent me a bunch of Star Citizen videos and i thought it looked cool.
I'm a freelancer at the moment and will be working part time at a local college soon but other than that I'm an avid PC gamer and like to make new gaming buddies so...ya. I'm currently apart of a big gaming clan, which I won't name, and was assured this was just a community of Star Citizen players and won't turn into a multi-game clan or anything (We have rules against multi-clanning). So as long as that's the case I'm excited about playing with you guys in this game. I don't play many flying or dogfighting games so I'm looking forward to the FPS elements of the game. Flying will be a new thing for me :}

Welcome,
If you participate in the DFM you will have lots of time to practice.

I think you're going to kill it at FPS. Today's CIG video mentioned that you take stations by boarding and taking out all the guys. We'll certainly need to figure out how to do that without taking a bullet to the head. SF Commando docz to the front.

I've played quite a bit of Counter Strike in my time. Hopefully the skills will transfer.

Welcome! Xiacod, I think M&K FPS skills will be a change to 3D space flight, but boarding enemy ships with the FPS element you will have an edge on others. I'm the same way, though personally.

The little twist in Star citizen is that combat might be in zero-g or under some extreme g-forces. Should be interesting.

Yiss, I'm more than happy to be the gun-man. like I said I'm definitely interested in the flying aspect just because it's something new, but FPS is where my strengths lie and if we need to storm the gates foot soldier style at any point, i'm your guy. Kind of reminds me of taking new bases in Farcry 3 by eliminating all the enemies. Also, funny to note that I just re-read my introduction post. I meant to say "this" instead of shit. Guess my keys got mixed up there but it was effective.

Thats good dotcom, I'll need a good tail gunner for my freelancer and a guard on my avenger to back me up when we land to catch some baddies with bounties
