Welcome! I'm Mark's friend Kirk, handle gmunu.
I heard that you have a lot of guild/gaming experience. That'll come in really handy while we're setting up everything if you're interested in helping us out. Mark has said a lot of good things about you so I'm looking forward to playing with you! If you have any ideas, comments or concerns, feel free to let us know too. We're still trying to flesh out everything from the ground up.

I'd like to pipe in and say hey as well! Seems like we have some seasoned gamers in this org. I hope to get to know everyone!

I suppose I should throw a little of my background into my greeting. I've been playing video games since I could pick up a gameboy when I was 5. I started playing MMOs like WoW and Guild wars originally, focusing mainly on the story line quests and leveling up around the age of 10. A few years after I discovered City of Heroes (CoH) after watching a friend play. This was by far the best MMO I have ever played and don't think I'll ever have the same experience. Who doesn't love flying around with super powers knocking the snot out of bad guys? For those of you that have played it, consider yourselves lucky because NCsoft/Paragon Studios shut down CoH last November. But, while playing, I really learned all the things that MMOs had to offer besides just grinding and leveling up your character. I had many characters and started multiple guilds (called Super Groups in that game), most of which failed miserably for various reasons, and really felt connected to the CoH universe. Eventually I did get it right and had a pretty substantial SG that I created from the ground up. We had a large and diverse player base with great activity. We ran events and missions in the game, even created some of our own. Overall it was a really close community with everyone pitching in to make the group stronger. I'm looking forward to having a similar, if not better, experience with you all in Star Citizen. I'll be here as much as I can while we are getting things set up. If you need me for anything, just ask. I'm always willing to help. Signing off, Arch.

Hello :} I'm not a big MMO person myself but I have played most of the games you mentioned and enjoyed them. I think Star Citizen will be one of them :}
